INPHAZE
electrical spectroscopy complements Plasmon Resonance measurements November 2008 Kevin, our contract biochemist, has just completed measurements of the
binding kinetics of human tropo-elastin in a comparative study employing
the “Biacore” TM instrument and an INPHAZE impedance
spectrometer.
The protein binding kinetics have been quantified using the INPHAZE impedance
spectroscopy methodology, and this methodology has also yielded valuable information
about the nature of the tropo-elastin bound to the gold surface.
This work confirms the potential of using the INPHAZE instrument
for the study of protein-protein interactions.
